Sigh,

They don't have a physical exemption for fat 55 year olds do they? With a combined 26+ years of nursing/family nurse practioner, and with 17 years of that in the ER, the medical part would be a good fit. I used to work with Brig Gen. Luis Fernandez. He is a trauma doc here in Tyler.

From what you describe I think your skills and experience would be a great fit for the Medical Brigade! Navy SEAL level fitness is not a requirement.

To speak to a recruiter, just fill this out.

Texas CHL application "is no cost" to ALL active duty military with Texas Drivers License.

LOL, this thread seems like a recruiting advertisement for the Texas State Guard.

well it is kinda, please if your prior service or not military at all come check us out, we do serve an important function and need everyone we can get. uniforms aren't all that costly and its not really much time to give and you might learn something or find a friend along the way
