How would this be unconstitutional? They say it's just fine to search people who want to fly because there is no constitutional right to fly and thus one gives up some rights for this "privilege". How is collecting government assistance different?

...I don't think it is...we have to take a sobriety test, if we want to drive...submit to a financial examination, if we want assistance...a drug test, to get a job...a drug test to get financial assistance doesn't seem out of the realm of reasonable...but the ruckus would be like a rattlesnake appearin' in the middle of a murder of crows...

That's a pretty good list to start with. Not many people would want me PUT IN CHARGE. I believe we'd have to go through some really tough times, all of us, to get back where we're supposed to be. I fear very few of us are able or willing to make the sacrifices needed to make that "change". The number of "takers" just keeps growing and growing. The scale is gonna tip sooner or later. We need more individual responsibility and maybe a little suffering to make that happen.
IANAP- I am not a politician.

I pay for people who receive welfare checks.
I pay for people to receive food stamps.
I think that entitles me to have a say in how that money is spent.
If you don't like it, don't take the money.
People who cannot physically work are a different story completely so the rules should be different.
When more babies equal more handouts, the downward spiral is inevitable.

I see very few patriots in politics. Do we need, Term limits? No more bipartisanship? A constitution aptitude test?
