Of course, we had nuclear war drills every month, because surely someone would "push the button" one day. (And hiding under a desk would save our lives).
Then, we were all going to die from UV exposure when the FREON depleted the ozone layer.
Next, the genetically altered foods would mutate and attack us.
Then, the global warming.
What will "they" come up with next?

Well it turns out the earth's magnetic poles are in the process of reversing. The rate of movement is increasing and who knows but it could happen in the next few hundred years. All the compass needles will point south and I'm afraid that old people will start driving to Canada in January!
