He's also like one of the worst presidents we've ever had. Sane people don't site around and refuse to comment when their CiC is a charlatan, in over his head, a babe in the woods when it comes to foreign affairs, and a vengeful, spiteful, crass and arrogant political hack in domestic affairs. I don't believe he feels right at the end of the day if he hasn't told at least 3 lies before he gets to bed.

Not bashing.....just telling the truth.

You do not like it? Fix the cause of the problem, not the outcome! :rules: :rules:
Ummm...perhaps you need to direct your anger to a sizable chunk of the country that votes D and the mass media as a whole? There are certain factions that make bashing GOOD presidents a life long vocation.

I have bashed him too for some of his decisions/beliefs. I have bashed them all a time or two, some more than others.

I can honestly say that I even had a few good things to say about Clinton.

The current one? Still waiting on him to do something I can agree with. Quite possibly it will be when his last day in office arrives and he says goodbye. I will agree with that.

If he stays his course and reaches the level of dictator though.......

I picked up a patient from the VA in Dallas yesterday (and picking him up again today) and we got to talking. He was in both Korea and Vietnam as a nurse in a MASH unit. He said that 3 1/2 years ago he couldn't wait for Obama to be the first black President. Now he can hardly wait another 6 months for Obama to be the first black ex-president.

I just "rlol" .

I take it you're on active duty? Because, he's NOT my Commander in Chief, as I am no longer in the military. He can't command me to do anything.

I have to disagree that he's one of the worst presidents --he is THE worst, hands down, and has done, and will do, more damage to the country than all previous 200 plus years of presidents combined. Also, he's NOT my CiC, as I am no longer in the military. He cannot command me to do anything.

Well, technically, perhaps not, as my job already provides it. Realistically, as the country slowly descends into authoritarianism, I may have to follow a few commands, but there is a limit to that, and I hope I won't find out where that limit is.

I had the same thought. . .

I'll always have a special reverence and place in my heart for W. His character and authenticity are his legacy. I'd give next year's salary to sit with him for a Rangers game in Nolan's seats. . . and I'm pretty sure he'd give it back if my wife and kids asked him to.
