Almost everything except for Glocks (grip angle) and Taurus. I am not a big fan of the mouse guns with the only exception being the Sig P238, then again I personaly prefer Sigs over other manufacturers. I try to stay with 9mm and with the advances with modern ammo technology I do not believe that caliber has the big differences that it once did. Preference comes down to personal choice, what fits your hand the best and what is the budget. I really like my Springfield EMP and Ruger LCR for carry. I practice for carry and not groups almost every gun will be more than satisfactory in a defensive situation as long as it goes bang and the owner has done their part by mastering it.

Hey Salty1,

"I practice for carry and not groups"

Is that like a gun magazine saying a gun is "combat accurate" when it doesn't shoot worth a flip?

:biggrinjester:

Just wondering,

What I wa hearing was more, "Accuracy is based more on the shooter than the gun.". But I've been known to mishear things.

I have, and thoroughly enjoy, my Bersa Thunder .380s (yes, yes, I knoooooow) and my wife is quite enamored of her Ruger LCP Lasermax. they're both exceptionally concealable ^_^. Though, i have to state, I used to carry a RIA 1911 and didn't find it difficult to conceal, personally.

After 9 years with my .40's, G22 & G27, TAM let me shoot one of his .45's and I was hooked! Less than a year later I have made the switch from .40 to .45. What helped was that Glock now makes double stack .45's that hold 13 rounds. If they did 10 years ago I missed that because I would have gone that route from the start if I had known. Also, due to that little extra snap from the .40, I am more accurate with the .45.
