OK, so I'll resist hijacking the thread with my usual arguments, but I do have a question..... You make it sound like he was literally forced out of the party. My impression is that he is choosing, of his own volition, to leave the party. That's an important distinction, because another perfectly legitimate explanation is that he chose to leave because the primaries demonstrated that his message just didn't resonate with the majority of republican voters, and it isn't anything near being "uninvited." So how did you mean that phrase?

I reckon you can paint it how you want. But both Johnson and Huntsman were told that they weren't aligning well with the party and that they should consider their options.
I don't fear guns; I fear voters and politicians that fear guns.
