A 'Busa may beat me on the highway, but I bet I can go places he wouldn't dare follow!
Not at all.... Im meaning more to the Wing and ST crowd,, and even then, if that's what makes a rider giddy and out on the road,, Hats off to um.

I'm close to changing bikes,,,, One more try at changing the bar/seating position on the current bike, if i can not get it to work, it's going to be a sport / Tour for me, and yup,, some hard cases will be there someplace. :smilelol5:

That's a GREAT bike! I sold the busa. I know guys that have gone faster, but I've gone crazy fast myself and it just doesn't appeal to me any more. It was getting to be time anyway. I was getting to the point where the bike didn't scare me any more and that's a bad sign on a bike like that. Besides, I'm going to use some of the money I got for it to get a rifle and stick the rest into savings. We're looking at getting a new car next year and will probably use that as part of a down payment for that.

Warhammer,

Where did you get the bike painted? I love my V-Strom but that paint job makes me very jealous.

Thanks guys!
I did it all myself in my garage. The paint is from Armyjeepparts.com and is true OD, matched to NOS parts from WWII and the Korean war. The graphics are all self-designed and printed on 3M reflective material like they use on police and fire vehicles. They really light up when hit by headlights at night!

I ride a sport bike and wear the armor type jacket. It keeps my shirt down so just leave mine in the holster. My 1911 will fit in the tiny storage area under the back pillion though.

Problem is your shirt blows up when at highway speeds. Depending on your riding position of course. I have transitioned between storage and holster in public a few times and it wasnt too difficul.
