I'll bet no one ever thought of that.

We need a one-drink-a-month law. Nobody needs to drink 15 beers in one evening.

The lady who was injured and whose husband was killed, Renee McKelvey, also has serious medical consequences.

A fund has been established at Wells Fargo to assist the McKelveys with the cost of recovery. Donations can be made by contacting any Wells Fargo Bank in person, online or over the phone and indicating that the donation is for the “McKelvey Family Donation Fund,” account No. 2860841424. All questions may be directed to Wells Fargo contact Leslie Jones, 281-980-8881.

Also a benefit will be held on Thursday, August 23rd, 5:30-7pm at Home Theater Evolutions 3157 Highway 6. Sugar Land, TX 77478.

This incident is a sad reminder of how one night of drunken stupidity can end lives or alter them forever. No amount of money can repair this kind of damage.

Defendant pled to intoxicated manslaughter, 15 years in the slammer.

Lawsuits either have not been settled or settled with agreements not to discuss them publicly.
