Is it illegal to carry in a non legal sign place?

I was told in class and here and by the AG office. If it doesn't meet the 30-06 requirements CCW away and if your discovered and asked to leave simply say sorry and leave.

And DPS has stated that they will enforce a sign that they consider to be a "reasonable attempt."

How did you get the AG decision?

I called Austin and talked to Greg Abbot and I paid a visit to my County DA office and was told the same thing by both. If you get outed and you quietly leave as requested the LEO's will not get involved .

Wished you'd gotten that in writing.

I am not doubting the information that Deltaboy got from the County DA is not correct. But, since Deltaboy didn't talk to the AG, "getting it in writing" still wouldn't be an AG opinion. The AG can only write an opinion for an authorized requestor, not a private individual.
