I went to the Chick-Fil_A on Highway 6 and Bellaire in Houston today about 1:30pm. It was crowded. :clapping:

My roommate and I spent 30 minutes in the drive-through at their 75 & Plano Pkwy location 15 minutes before they closed.

Aside from that initial In-N-Out craze, I've never seen a fast food place so busy... not even for the big lunch rushes, and this was right before closing.

People are tired of being bullied by leftist causes. That's what they are: bullies. My sense is that the average Joe has had about enough. He's had all he can take, and he not only can't, but he won't take any more of it. The Obama administration is so tone deaf that they're not seeing it. The arrogance of the left blinds them to the possibility of being deaf. Consequently, they are going to wake up on the morning of November 7th with large amounts of egg on their faces.

I went to CFA today and the line was sooooooo long.

Must have been 50+ cars in the drive through and 100 people in line out the door and arounf the building.
I'm going tomorrow to buy lunch there.

This is about free speech, the 1st Amendment and the intolerance for government trying to control business based on the belief systems of the politicians.
That about sums it up.

:iagree: If those mayors hadn't made a stink about it, I probably wouldn't have cared.

Maybe you can eat chicken on Saturday. Then you can go to church on Sunday and you'll meet some really nice Chick-Fil-A employees there.

Just got back from CFA in Pasadena. Me and a coworker decided to continue the buycott. Sure was tasty.

I don't see what the big deal is about the gay/anti-gay debate or gay marriage *shrug*

Me neither. It is however a big deal when a Mayor (or Mayors) so that no new Chick-Fil-A's will be allowed in their town because of the corporate stance on a issue.

1st Amendment issue....plain and simple.

Seems this CEO said the exact same thing. Where was the outrage? Can we boycott? How about keeping him and his business out of our community? And just think, this is from the party that preaches tolerance.
"I’ve stated my opposition to this. I think it’s unnecessary, I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. I am not in favor of gay marriage. But when you start playing around with constitutions, just to prohibit somebody who cares about another person, it just seems to me that’s not what America’s about."
