Ermey should be at USAA anyway, where they know what it means to serve.

I joined USAA as a brand new Ensign 44 years ago and have probably saved more on car and home insurance than I made the entire time I was active and reserve, plus I have a significant member savings account built up now as well.
The same USAA that has all of its brick and mortar locations legally posted to prevent the carrying of any firearms?
I may not be as involved in that question as y'all are, seeing as how USAA has no large office here, there is no such thing as "legally posting" nor any need, as almost nobody has a CHL here anyway. I was one of maybe 2000 in the county until mine expired not long ago.
And yet, their official policy is still anti-rights.

I'm eligible for USAA so I priced them out for auto and home and they couldn't match the long term discount we've been getting from State Farm. Then I found out how anti-2A they were and was quite glad I did not go with them.

Back on topic, disappointing to hear from Geico but I had not seen any of the Gunny's ads lately as it was so I was under the impression they were not using him any more. But it would be no surprise coming from Buffet.

I have nothing to do with them , I can't fire them. Oh their stock is $127,000 (BKR-A) a share. I know I won't buy any.

Unless I'm mistaken, they not only have a office here, it's a huge complex. Their website lists the San Antonio address as "USAA Home Office."

USAA Home Office Address
9800 Fredericksburg Road
San Antonio, TX 78288

Chas.

Edited to add: Yep, USAA has a very large complex in San Antonio. Here are some photos (2nd from left): http://www.glassdoor.com/Overview/Worki ... .11,15.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I've lived in San Diego the last 44 years, and been with USAA all that time. There is no "30.06" stuff, no need for it since almost nobody has a CHL. I just found this minute that USAA does now have an office here, in Mission Valley, which I did not know about. I've never been in a USA facility except the small auto claims operation they used to have to inspect car damages.

Do the members know of this anti-2A posture?

OK - I've dropped the Lizard. I still have my Glock and my Victory motorcycle.

Sorry to hear about USAA. I was about to go to them for insurance and a mortgage but will keep shopping.
