That's the ammo my wife carried in her 709 and it functioned flawlessly.

My 709 & 740 have eaten most everything thrown at them with one lone exception - Federal Champions. Not sure if I had a bad batch of 9mm & .40S&W FC's, cause I had the same FTFeed/Jam with 3 other pistols in 9mm and .40 with same ammo.

I put 200 rds thru it yesterday with no failures... nice!
I've also installed a Hogue grip sleeve and Pearce mag extension and bought an extra magazine. I really like the trigger and the profile/size of the gun. Hopefully the FTE issues are over and it will fire reliably from now on.

I bought the wife a 709 slim for her EDC. She has been to the range several time and never felt happy with the trigger. She is a hawk eye with my Glock 23 but being on the petite side( her not the glock), she feels like it's a cannon to conceal. So, we recently picked out a LC9 for her EDC. She's happy with it and we will see how it feels in concealment once her new crossbreed holster gets here. For now, we are trying to decide if we will sell the 709 or if we will keep, just in case.
