Myself included in the above statement?

Yes, of course. I get mad at my family members too sometimes.

I woke up this morning with my usual throbbing back and limped out to the kitchen for a cup of medicinal coffee, to find a birthday card from my insurance agent propped up at my place at the dining table. I downed 500 mg of Etodolac and a 10/350 hydrocodone with my coffee, like I do every morning, and in about 45 minutes or so, I'll feel like the 60 years old I am today, instead of the 94 years old I woke up feeling like.
I made it. I'm 60 years old today and still alive.....and a little puzzled by that.......and for you young bucks, don't get cocky. Old age and cunning will beat inexperience and youthful enthusiasm every single time.
Happy birthday to me. I love you guys.
Breakfast of Champions. Sounds like my every day routine.
TAM, I wish you the very best of birthdays. I hope all of your wishes come true and may God bless you in your daily endevors.

Happy Bday Tam and remember what I tell my wife, it's bad enough being extra mature, but what really cramps my style is being married to an old gal.

Happy Birthday TAM, from your birthday twin.
And now, a word from another October 5 birthday boy (1936 model), Mr. Vaclav Havel,
who is a Czech playwright, and a former leader of his country:
"Anyone who takes himself too seriously always runs the risk of looking ridiculous;
anyone who can consistently laugh at himself does not."
TAM - You lead a paradoxical existence, to wit: you have some medical issues and take some meds,
yet you are practicing out for a long run. Good for you.
I feel great but generally live by these general guidelines:
Never run when you can walk. Never walk when you can stand.
Never stand when you can sit. Never sit when you can lie down.
I can honestly say that I thank God every day for my great genes, resulting in feeling just as healthy
and happy now as when I was a teenager. The only thing that slows me down sometime is when my
hay fever crops up now and then, and I have to keep a box of Kleenex handy. My dad's 87, sharp in mind,
and I believe that I will get there too.
"This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it."
Psalm 118:24
Life for me has included an absence of the "corporate go-getter" gene, so I'm more of a content,
Alfred E. Neuman "What - Me Worry" type. It's all good, my friends. Don't worry, be happy.
And drink plenty of water. Over and out. :-)
