This is another case of the blind leading the blind.
Some of the "monitors" are supposed to come from the Ukraine, according the Megan Kelly/Fox News video clip
Really?

That is right up there with the leadership in Iran being on the UN council for woman's rights.

How about Matthew 7:5?

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott wrote:"Elections and election observation are regulated by state law. The Texas Election Code governs anyone who participates in Texas elections—including representatives of the OSCE. The OSCE’s representatives are not authorized by Texas law to enter a polling place. It may be a criminal offense for OSCE’s representatives to maintain a presence within 100 feet of a polling place’s entrance. Failure to comply with these requirements could subject the OSCE’s representatives to criminal prosecution for violating state law.
Sincerely,
Greg Abbott
Attorney General of Texas"

maybe they can go to Illinois and watch the new black panthers intimidate white voters
I believe that was in Philadelphia four years ago. It was a criminal act what they did too, as they were yielding clubs; a clear act of voter intimidation.

I'm sure if any county sheriff office is looking for volunteers on election night, they'll find plenty on this forum.
Let's be honest though, it's the UN. The worst that can happen is we get a strongly-worded letter of condemnation for not allowing non-citizens to vote

I'm pretty sure that the UN isn't worried at all about non-citizens voting in our elections. It is our blatantly denying the rights of dead people to vote that has them concerned. Corpses have rights, you know.

If we don't correct our ways, they'll hold a council meeting and condemn us.

I think y'all miss the point of these UN inspectors. They send them to "monitor" the election so that if it doesn't go the way they want it to, the leftist press can use them as fodder to push for a call to "recount". If anyone remembers, Al Franken was elected on "found" votes, well, that is what they intend I am sure of it.

That is certainly part of their agenda.

I wish this nation had a President who had the guts to tell the UN to get packing...that we find them to be overbearing at best and in direct opposition to us in general...that we aren't going to contribute one more dime to any of their misbegotten schemes just so they can come to NYC and bad-mouth us, or hand the money directly to petty dictators and terrorists. It would take a leader of great courage and determination, and the political skill to get Congress to buy off on it, but it sure is overdue. In the meantime, we at least need someone to be our Ambassador to the UN who will tell them in no uncertain terms that we are tired of the nonsense.

Are they going to wear those nice UN Blue helmets so we know who is who?

Doesn't matter, you can take your time picking them out. They won't shoot back

Yea, but I want to know who to aim at and who to avoid talking to!

Fox News reported on OSCE's reply earlier today. I forget their exact wording, but OSCE is not happy and not amused... IIRC, they essentially said "bring it on". TX had better not back down if this group tries anything illegal.

Fox had AG Abbott on and he reiterated what he said in his letter. If they get within 100 ft of a polling place they are breaking the law. I think the target for these goons is Houston.
