Do you know of any local theaters that allow carry?
Tinseltown in Grapevine. Cinema Grill in Colleyville. Those are the two theaters I go to, and they are not posted......or at least, neither were posted a couple of weeks ago.

I go to Netflix where I can carry in my skivvies if I choose to do so. They also stop the movie if I need to leave the room for refreshment, etc.

Did I mention that the price is right, too?

They do now.
Really? Have you indicated this on Texas3006.com? I searched there and didn't find one with a compliant sign. Where is the one you know of with the correct sign?
AMC Stonebriar (Frisco, TX) has signs posted all over the place now.
Last time I was at an AMC, this was the sign. Needless to say, I carried right past it as the sign is obviously too small:

This

I don't challenge non-compliant signs but I don't patronize them (except under extreme duress from the family) either.

I have an almost 2 year old at home. What is this "movie theater" you all speak of?

The mall itself is not properly posted. They have those big ugly signs at only the mall entrances with incorrect wording. The last time I was there was at least two years ago and the theater only had 30.06 signs printed on 8.5x11 inch pieces of paper in the lower corner of the windows way over on the right as far from a door as they could be on the glass.

Who cares? They either want your business or they don't.

Move along, there's nothing to see here. Move along now, thank you....

I think you fellows are missing out on a superb invitation to save a fortune in dollars and loads of time by not wasting either at the movies. I don't think I have been in a movie theater since Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, maybe, and the time before that was when I stood in a line around the block in Dallas freezing my parts off to see Goldfinger in December 1964. If there has been a movie worth the price of admission and time in recent years, I must have missed it. I wish I could call it a boycott since most of the industry are gun-banning liberals, but I just don't care about them.

The trouble is they are fiction. Even the ones that aren't fiction are fiction. Ever since Walt Disney and John Wayne appropriated David Crockett's aura for crass commercial purposes, creating bogus fiction, and conned us into wearing coonskin caps and "Old Betsy's", I've resented it, especially after I went to the Archives while at UT and found out the swinging of Old Betsy was a complete fabrication! I'd give anything to know what really happened, as it really happened, and not a penny for somebody's dramatic recreation based on historical events. If you want to read such fiction, stick with newspapers.... they're a lot cheaper.
