He made some micarta from layers of an old khaki shirt and shaped it to match the OEM grips on his Kimber Pro Raptor, and then mounted them on my DIL's Pro Carry:
These grips have an interesting texture to them.....almost velvety, but still smooth.

The sprog has turned his talents to grips for 1911s.....
