I'm not a lawyer and have not seen a law that says they can or cannot. If Walmart were to fire a person for carrying you can take them to court for violation of their policy, and collect unemployment while doing it. There are also other recorses available.

When I did the quote. I meant for it to be "on the clock" sorry people...Walmart will fight, like it's their last dollar to not pay unemployment.. I was fired once before, and I lost to Walmart for unemployment.
