One of them I've heard already is the WW2 era M1 Carbine. My dad carried one ashore at Iwo Jima, in defense of Diane Feinstein's right to be a moral cripple. Whoever comes to try and take mine is going to get shot with it.
tam that sounds like redistrubition of ammo to me

This will only go for guns being purchased correct? As in, guns we already own will not be taken away or try to at least? I know if they try to, people will end up being shot by someone out there.

It says we would need to register "grandfathered" firearms...

Well, I don't have any yet. But my grandpa says he as a lot to pass down. Which he has kept a secret for a long time and I was shocked about it. Ok, we'll thanks too.

Difi's bill will require existing semi-autos to be registered as NFA weapons - $200 registration tax, fingerprints and permission from your local police cheif or sheriff required. Note this is $200 per gun!
All weapons become non-transferable meaning you cannot sell your own property and they will be destroyed upon your death.
That's what she wants anyway.

And maybe $200 per magazine too.....that part isn't clear yet...I've seen $5 per magazine quoted as well.

I wanted to point out that this is all rumor floating around the internet. Until the actual bill is introduced, we do not know that the registration will involve any tax and that the weapons will be non-transferable.
The summary on DiFi's web page says registration under the NFA, with background check and certification of law enforcement. The NFA does have a registration of just $5 for AOWs, so we cannot presume it is going to be the $200 registration. There is also nothing about non-transferable on her page, and it even does mention transferring weapons.
I support nothing in her bill or in her, but we need to not panic ourselves further. The truth is bad enough.

There sure isn't. It was there when it first went up and the last time I looked at her site (which was probably a week ago). I'm guessing she realized it would stop the bill before it could even get legs.
From her own press release 12/17/2012:
“On the first day of the new Congress, I intend to introduce a bill stopping the sale, transfer, importation and manufacturing of assault weapons as well as large ammunition magazines, strips and drums that hold more than 10 rounds,” Feinstein said.

Nothing to worry about - it'll never pass. Almost all Republicans and many Democrats in the house will utterly reject the registration requirement, and the NRA will go absolutely thermonuclear over it.
