Nope never shipped.

Canceled my order as well.

I did get shipping notice from the aero lower I purchased directly from them.

bummer. It's a nice looking upper. I was really up on it until the whole aero fiasco of late. After that I thought on it some more and decided I can put together a really nice upper for the same price and be just as happy... it's still an awesome upper and I may change my mind in the future after all the panic subsides. right now I'm only buying if the price is right. I'm in no hurry.

I really like my Vltor Mur upper receiver.. I was checking for you on this item, and it is also out of stock on many sites. The good thing is the companys can notify you when an item is back in stock, but be warned they may be out of stock when you get the email. They can go that fast.

Another option is the Seekins uppers/handguards. They have a few different upper models depending on which handguard you want. SWFA has them in stock according to their website. Pricewise you are just barely more than the COP upper but you are getting more for the money IMO

Well to bu ultra honest I am kinda glad I canceled my Aero COP order.

My whole purpose behind this rifle was these 2 things.

#1 Have an ultra light rifle that my wife might feel comfortable shooting / carrying. Going with a Polymer lower and a Pencil barrel will make it as light as possible along with a small red dot and back up irons

#2 Have a rifle that I can theoretically find parts for anywhere. IE no custom parts but pretty much as universal as possible.

Getting a normal upper, lower, barrel, free float tube pretty much covers this.

Still trying to figure out if I go with Mil-Spec or Commercial buffer and tube.

To aide you in your buffer tube decision. I have both and can't tell one from the other. "rlol"
