I have been carrying shoulder holster all week while visiting in Comanche, Tx.
We have been eating out, gone to a movie and visiting with friend's other than the one's we are staying with and when he asked where I was carrying [ he know's that I do and sometimes he does too] no one but my wife had any idea that I had it on from get out of bed to back in bed all week. Shoulder also work's better for me when driving.

My guess is that you were covering w/ nothing more a heavy cotton shirt.
Most folks think of shoulder carry as requiring a COAT.
Confirm for the New to Carry guys.

I also have a cheap Uncle Mike's shoulder holster sitting in a box in my closet. It was impossible to adjust and always felt like it was sticking out the back. Cheap is the key word. I'm assuming the good ones are leather? What is the cost?

I have a galco jack ass rig for my 1911 and it is one of the most comfortable rigs i have but have returned to OWB carry till i resolve some rotater cuff issues.

I often have to shift my gun depending on my position. I will often switch it to 3 o'clock for sitting. I use 3:30 or 4 o'clock for walking around.
Shifting isn't difficult in a dark theater.

http://www.shado.com It's a great holster and affordable on a budget. I wear mine everywhere and have never had a problem with comfort. I carry a full size 9mm. I also have a sholder rig for long car rides.

I just got a Galco holster from Dallas Public Safety Supply (coolest store on earth, I'm pretty sure...), and will have to see how good ole agent 92 sits.

whelp, enjoyed that movie thoroughly. Him takin' out that choppa at the beginning was awesome!
anyway, the holster held ol' Agent 92 in his home rather nicely, was very comfortable, and I felt no need to adjust or anything as such.
on a side note, I think this was the safest theater ever.
there was a cop right inside the door (1911, cocked and locked), me, and at least two other dudes I identified packin' sweet lead slingers.
one guy had one of them vests on that screams "AH GAHT A GUHN!!" to which I later confirmed.
kinda funny knowing a majority of the audience is being "responsible" for themselves.
