There's only one gun show entity that has shows in Dallas, and that's the Dallas Gun Collectors at Market Hall. I'm not sure if the City of Dallas owns Market Hall, but if so, I'm sure another venue could be found on the outskirts of Dallas, or even at Amon Carter in Fort Worth like the other gun shows do.

Actually I don't know that "He" actually said that. Here is a report of "supposedly" what was said by him. It was the Brady bunch biscuit queen that made the statement about gun shows. He just said he would look into it but that it was up to Austin and Washington to make gun laws.

Actually, I think the Dallas mayor is a member of MAIG, so, yes.
Nothing that bunch of idiots in charge do in government tha starts with Dallas suprised me. Since I got out of High School in 1973 I have worked in that looney bib all but 9 years. My conworkers as far back as 1978 kept asking me why I didn't move to Dallas, Garland or, Richardson the next night there would be a show at city hall, commissioners court, DISD, or DART that mad The 3 Stooges like smart. Or Al Capone honest.

Market Hall is privately owned, so there are no gun shows on public property in Dallas.
