Why didn't she have the gun to start? Why did she wait so long to get the gun? If the crook was serious and kicked in the door the first time instead of playing hide and seek, she could have been in big trouble.

Maybe because it's a commercial, and she is an actress, and that's the way the screenwriters wrote the commercial and she had to follow the script and Glock approved said script, and maybe Glock decided that the BG should just faint rather than be shot full of holes so that liberals wouldn't wet their pants and call for the removal of such a heinous commercial. The commercial is written as if she has a 1911 in her hand. Just the mere appearance of a 1911 will cause the bag guy to faint. He's lucky she didn't shoot. He may have lost and arm or a leg.
