Went to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office webpage and dropped a "Thank you" note to Sheriff Gage. Sure would be nice if Tarrant County's Sheriff would "cowboy up" and show the same consideration for us.

bizarenormality was doing a spell check. The Sheriff wrote Able instead of Abel.

I'm pround to say I know him personally! (well, I get a fundraiser letter from him every year...)

Off topic but the short lived series "Jericho" demonstrated the need for the people to keep and bear arms, and FWIW Texas was the lynchpin on which the Republic would survive.

Ahh, sorry. I didn't catch the spelling thing and thought he meant that the Sheriff said Able killed Cain.
