Speaking of holsters, and not wanting to sway off topic but, I bought a Galco X Project Shoulder Rig and it fits like a glove. I will carry the Glock 27 and this is a pretty good fit. NRA gets a piece of it, too.
Does anyone know if Galco carries a holster that fits this rig and handles the 1911 :?:
Galco makes everything. they can cover a Glock or 1911 easily.

how's that XProject? that's the one that the harness is under the shirt, and the holster goes on the outside, right?
and doubles as a belt?
looks cool!

Unfortunately, the selection of holsters for the X-Project is pretty slim. You pretty much get a selection of Glocks, 3" 1911s, a couple of SIGs, and a couple of 4" XDs. It looks like a pretty awesome setup, and I'd live to have one, if only they made holsters to fit my guns.

Well, let me go on record here and say that I am extremely happy with the set up. I wear it all day when out in "the world" and about 5 minutes after I put it on, I forget about it. Fits like a ring or watch. Yes, that inside-outside thing really works.
I am unhappy that they haven't come up with a more extensive selection of holsters. Think I will contact their custom dept.
They have something good going on with this rig! As a mock attack, my wife did all she could to take the weapon out of the holster while I had it on. That ain't gonna happen until you "push the magic button"!
I am totally happy with this product.
If I can't carry my 1911 or Beretta FS I'm gonna be "really mad"!

get one of their catalogues, that's really going to help you look at their systems.

the thing you guys have to keep in mind, is that certain systems are built for certain size/style guns. You're not going to find an ankle holster that holds a B92...
maybe they're thinking about the weight of the gun holding up to the construction of the holster system. I dunno. those heavier guns may require a stronger strap, or button thing, I dunno.
anyway, you may contact them out thar in Pheelis Arizola and see if they can customize something for you, or maybe another model will work.

Very good points. Didn't think of that.
Remember the title of this thread! :headscratch
