I'd let them look in the yard but if the alarms didn't go off, I'm pretty sure he's not inside my house. Many a time we would have the helo make an announcement as to what were were doing and who we were looking for. As the suspect(s) bolted from one yard or house to the next, somebody would call 911 and tell us. That kind of help works great.
