Dang it! Now I can't move home. Oh well, some distance from my liberal sister sister will do use both some good. She can live with her own mess while I enjoy freedom in Texas.

There's nothing in the proposed laws that would affect me immediately... but I've written to Governor Hickenlooper and challenged him to man-up. It's all just so sad. Really, sad.

Come on down to TX magpul!
The email I got this morning from One Source Tactical said that Magpul is moving to Nevada. Don't know how true that is.

If true, I wonder if they wanted to stay somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. I love Texas, but I admit that I miss the Rocky's ...

Drive up I-25 and cross the border into Wyoming. A little colder, still beautiful, and much more conservative.

No Rockies in Nevada, but they do have High Sierras. Is that what you were thinking of?

Californians moved to CO and brought their voting habits with them.
:iagree: Colorado has had a major influx liberal democrats over the years. Lots of big money moved there for the winter sking and beutiful summers. They live in huge houses in the mountain resort areas, in Boulder and Denver.
:iagree: Yep...I have a cabin up in the southwest mountains where I go to fly fish. Been going up there for 25+ years, and have become close friends with a number of the locals that were born and raised there. Up there, they use the term "those front range people", with the same derogatory connotation that we refer to "the left coast". The absentee owners that have the big homes at the ski areas are not really an issue, because almost none of them are full time residents and don't vote there, but almost 80% of the total population is on the I-25 corridor in Pueblo/Colorado Springs/Denver/Boulder/Ft Collins, and they control the legislation for the whole state.

Sierra Nevada Mountains are in California. Though considered relatively flat "The Great Basin", large ranges can be found throughout the state.

I've hunted the Spring, Ruby, Snake and Schell Creek Ranges. Elk, Mule Deer, 3 species of sheep, Mtn Goat, and Pronghorn. The Magpul folks would feel right at home.

Magpul just released a statement on fbook stating
It appears that someone has posted or sent out some sort of notice that we are moving to a specific location. We can assure you that no decision has been made about location, and that we are still fighting this battle. We are, however, assembling our requirements and looking at various areas that would be suitable for our new home, should it come to that. We appreciate all the offers, and we will begin talking to various entities about those shortly.

Hawaii is probably the best example. A great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

I don't even want to visit Hawaii. I hold the place in the same contempt as I do New York.

Gotta love a great, understanding wife!
I hope the anti gun, anti oil, anti big company Californians stay away, although their morals will only keep them at bay for so long when they find out that there is money to be made here. :banghead:
