:iagree: My thoughts exactly. Ruger and S&W take care of all of this. All you need to do is put it in a box.

Tried that and they want 50 bucks for the service. Might end up doing that if it costs me the same going through UPS ....... would seem less hassle.

I don't know your specifics, but I know of cases where Taurus has done it.

That's why I said 'request harder', as in speaking to a supervisor.

Did you purchase the handgun new from an FFL, are you the original purchaser? Or did you buy it used?
