760 rounds of 223 and I am worried that I am out!
1000 rounds of .45 and I feel like I can't go shoot because I don't have enough supply!
Thanks to Wodathunkit I finally have 100 rounds of 9mm to feed my XD 9...

The average street cop carries a total of 3 mags for their duty gun.... so compare 250 to 3 mags and yes that would be a lot of ammo in that sense...... I am more concerned about the bombs myself.. They will probably try to impose more legislation that having 250 is illegal

Anything to advance the cause by exploiting a weak excuse to impose more controls.
If the truth be told, if the home of that 3 mag carrying street cop was raided, it's quite likely that a lot more than 250 rounds would be found. More than likely, they'd find a gun or two (or 15) as well. Why, they'd find a veritable "arsenal." The horror of it all........

If I was down to 250 rounds, I would be in full blown panic buy mode.
Heck, I've bought at gouge prices when I got down to 1300 projectiles.

You think you guys might be in trouble for having as much ammo as you do, I'm in bigger trouble as I've operating a clandestine munitions factory for years. If they come for me do you think they'll nab RCBS and MEC for material support of my factory?

One brick of .22 LR is twice that many rounds of ammo. They don't want us to have any ammo, since a gun without ammo is useless except as a club. It is about making slaves out of us.

To get 250 rounds of ammo, especially in Boston, they must have been planning this for a long time. Almost impossible to get 250 rounds of anything right now except for shotgun and hunting. I am assuming they would probably have 9mm or some other handgun cartridge.

Read in context, I think the chief was speaking about the unexploded ordnance rather than the 250 rounds which is hardly exciting.
In these days of ammo shortages, most of us would call 250 rounds under prepared and almost out for lawful gun owners.
In context, he (mis) used the word "firepower" and that could only mean the number of guns and ammo in liberalspeak because even they don't call bombs firepower.
Most Texas LEOs I know would think you're a new shooter if all you have is 250 rounds.

LOL....heck I keep over 250 rounds of 7.62x38r.
Having less than 500 for most of my firearms would send me searching for more.
Wonder what they would say about me?
