He donated all the profits from his book to America's Mighty Warriors, a non-profit started by the mother of Marc Allen Lee, the first SEAL killed in Iraq, and dedicated to support and encourage the troops and their families (SOURCE: http://atwar.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/02/ ... l-brother/).
In light of that, it seems like a judge ought to throw the lawsuit out, since its premise is, "It would be unjust to permit the estate to continue to profit from Kyle’s wrongful conduct and to leave Governor Ventura without redress for ongoing damage to his reputation."
Ventura has already done enough to damage his own reputation.

And yet he just announced he would be interested in running for Prez in 2016.

He might have a certain appeal to the same geniuses who elected Obama.

Ventura now is in la-la land, where if he doesn't see his name in the paper, he believes he doesn't exist.

It's easy to file suits and get huffy-puffy but eventually you have to prove it, and it is hard to imagine how he will show that this story (1) is false, and (2) if false, injured his reputation.

Mrs. Kyle ought not to have to worry about this, but that's our way.
