I open carried in New Mexico and all I got were friendly nods. I also had my Galaxy Note 2 that's always with me and if something were to unfold I may or may not record it. It does not mean I seek out confrontation. This is the era of social media and 24/7 camera access so if someone is acting like a clown it's probably going to end up in digital format for the world to see.

Someone recording video doesn't mean they're looking to cause trouble.

That's a good distinction. Police with dash cams may be ready to record trouble that happens but that isn't the same as being the cause of that trouble, nor does it mean they entrapped the people on the video. The same applies to civil rights activists harassed by civil rights opponents.

Fortunately there were no I-phones or video recording devices in 1770 on King Street in Boston when protesting citizens were confronted and murdered by the British soldiers. There would be people saying they shouldn't be doing that as it may be antagonistic. We all know there are people that purposely set up and video scenarios to exercise their Second Amendment right that are confrontational, but they have that right. How many times have we seen the phrase "I may disagree with what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it"? I don't know if this is a case of a set up (I tend to think it's not) but should not we be willing to defend the Second Amendment as passionately as the First?

All the videos I have seen show the people walking down a well traveled street, places where they know someone will see them (which I guess is the point). I am not sure what this accomplishes but they can do what they want as long as it does not bother me.
I really do not see the point in refusing to give up your seat and move to the back of the bus....

For the places that have OC, I believe it's (unfortunately) in the "use it or lose it" category of rights.
What good is a right if nobody ever uses it, so the one time you have a need to do so, you just get harassed?
Some of the bait videos are done by lunkheads, but many of them are just paving the road for other OCers. . . they need to educate the public, the police, and the 911 dispatchers.

I think that the video is just a good example of Darwinism at its finest.
