You everyone on here saying they already mailed their documents in can still scan and email those same documents. (assuming you paid online) If you mailed your docs in late June, you're gonna wait several weeks before a status will appear. Why not scan and email your documents for faster results? It's definitely the way to go, I don't know why anyone snail mails their stuff anymore, unless it's those that pay via the mail (don't have computers)

Honestly - at this point I'll just wait the extra week. (If I submit it twice will it cause confusion? etc ... probably not, but I'm kind of in 'what, me worry?' right now ... an extra week isn't enough for me to want to bother with that, even if I joke about it a little. Now, if I'd known before I mailed it ... sure :) )

You are correct, emailing would not affect the speed of BG check, but shaving a week or so off the overall time to receive plastic can only be a good thing and gets another brother or sister CC'ing that much quicker!

Simply select "New chl app" attach your docs and in the comment area put" required chl docs for mr. ________ _______".
You have to start your app first.

You got that right, wow mine was 62 days ..

I uploaded and emailed all of the documents through the website for my wife on 7/16 but have not received a confirmation email saying that they got it, and there is no update online. Anyone else have to wait to get confirmation that it was received?

I've looked at the official site and I cannot find the info to email doc. Can you point me in the right direction? I'm getting fingerprints on Tuesday, and was going to drop off paperwork at DPS dropbox, but would rather email attachments if possible. I'd like to take advantage of an electronic papertrail.
