I tried the J-hooks on my tuckable holster and liked them ok...but I got some C-clips from Comp-Tac and love them...they aren't as noticable...

Though I handed my J-hooks to a friend who had an issue with the snap clips snagging his shirts and tearing them up...he loves the J-hooks...

I had to get a few shirts little by little. I have 3 shirts from Academy one size larger than what I usually wear & i leave them untucked. there made to look good untucked. Academy ($12 to $19). I carry a full size pistol on my Hip in a concealment holster so I wear something pretty loose. I have a large Panama Jack shirt from Wall-Mart . a couple of size larger Hawaiian shirts etc.... Also my Massab Ayoob Vest form time to time.

I've pretty much always worn what I wear, the only real change was that I'm fatter than I used to be, so when I tried stuff on I kept in mind that I'd be carrying IWB. So I'm pretty much the same as before - jeans or khakis or cargo pants/shorts, t-shirt or polo or button up shirt - I've always worn stuff that was a little (but not too) baggy/loose anyway so it's really no different now.
How much did the way you dress change when you started carrying? I've heard people say to 'dress around the gun' but I how I dressed before was fine for me, I'd feel a little odd dressing differently.
I haven't changed that much. I always liked cargo shorts and cargo pants, jeans, boots, untucked shirts, etc. About the only difference I made was buying waist sizes one size larger when I still carried IWB (I no longer do), and making sure that my untucked shirts were both loose enough and long enough to cover a holstered gun. Other than that, the main difference I made was buying shirts in either darker colors, or with prints that would help to break up the outlines of a gun if it made a bump in the shirt. I don't wear loose fitting white shirts anymore because they tend to be more transparent.
The
biggest difference is the least apparent one to the casual observer: I only wear gun belts anymore to hold up my pants—regardless of whether I am holster carrying or pocket carrying. But to any of my old friends back in California, they would not notice a substantive difference in the way I dress now compared to before.

Same here. I tried one of my normal belts last year just to see if I'd notice a difference (sans pistol). It felt like my pants were held up by string and could fall off at any time.

Just one size bigger & generally darker and/or with patterns. Other than that, my style is about the same.

Bought a belt designed to hold a holster, and started wearing t-shirts. IWB lets me wear the same shirts I wore before.

Added a Wilderness Instructor belt and relaxed fit levis jeans, rather than the regular 505 style. Same set of Hawaiian shirts :-) I did find that I needed to buy a size larger in most shorts.
I find the relaxed fit pants are loose enough to fit with my IWB holster without looking too baggy.
