AUSTIN -- Homeland Security in Austin is getting ready to perform some drills.

Over the next few weeks the federal agency will test response plans for terror threats.

The FBI and local law enforcement will help. The Department of Public Safety says if you see anything suspicious, you should still call police.

I am thinking this is the threat...

It won't be over in three days. It's an ongoing threat that will wreak havoc and destruction on the lives of everyone in the state, not just Austin; the unabated influx of libs and progs.

So they are closing embassies in Muslim countries for a week.

Would this be profiling?

Shouldn't they close the embassies in all countries regardless of the religion of the country.

I seem to recall there being a "school shooting" drill ran concurrently less than 5 miles from Sandy Hook, and there were reports of "bomb drill" announcements minutes before the Boston Marathon bombings. Curious to see how this plays out. :evil2:

Maybe somebody in Austin heard people won't pay sales tax this weekend and thought it was a militia protest.

Anyone have an update on this?

I just confirmed my itinerary for this upcoming weekend which will be one full week past the original threat time. It's for a job interview back in Austin.

Was this a bunch of malarkey or not?
