And do it the way I do it. I only charge a portion of the purchase on credit card and use cash to pay the rest. Soo, my last AR purchase only got me $380 worth of grief...

If she comes at you too hard (and you are in fear for your life), you'll have a shiny new gun to use to protect yourself!!! Buy it!!!

Just show her one of these and go ahead and buy it

My strategy is to give the impression that my arsenal has finite needs, and that I am only one or two guns away from finally filling all the holes. It gives her hope that one day it will be over. Unfortunately, with each gun purchase I discover at least two more hitherto unseen holes that need plugging. Kind of like the Hydra.

This works the opposite way with scrapbooking supplies...just a heads up.

I found it creates less marital stress now when I don't blame my wife for depriving myself of a purchase. I blame Dave Ramsey instead!

If you're going to use that line, I'd suggest doing it from behind solid cover......

1. Buy the gun.
2. If she asks how much you spent, tell her "Don't worry about it."

All this time and noone has posted Andy C's obituary? I only see two possibilities - either your guys are falling down on the job or she hasn't caught up with him yet. There was no way he wasn't going to buy the gun.
