So I will lose both my life insurance policy and my supplemental health insurance....the ONLY insurance I could afford....because of the fascist dictator in the oval office, and his fascist cronies on the left side of the aisle.

My government is now my enemy.

I'm really sorry to hear this TAM. You're a hard working, honest, self-employed American that deserves better. I don't agree with a lot of political statements that have been floating around, threatening to ruin certain sections of the board. But if I may, this new era of "government" and "people of the United States" will be the demise of us all.

Thank you Mojo. My faith in God is unshaken. My faith in politicians (of all stripes) is destroyed. I don't care what they do in DC any longer. I just don't.

I'm going to do my thing, fly low and avoid the radar, and make myself materially agile and ready for whatever tomorrow brings. I'm done fighting people who love fascism. If they want the country, they can have it. The only thing worth defending any longer is the memory of how it used to be. It will never be that again because more than half of the voters don't value it. What it is becoming can be flushed down the toilet, as far as I am concerned.

TAM,
I'm sorry to hear that also.
Tell me if I'm reading between the lines correctly:
Your life insurance policy was cancelled because it was associated with a supplemental health insurance policy that didn't meet minimum standards per Obamacare? (I'm guessing here)
I understand why that might grate your hide and hope you can find another term life plan that fits your needs quickly and for the same coverage. Apparently there are some tools online to help you find term life plans.

As I'm still "wait and see" on Obamacare - I've got to admit that most of what I'm seeing is mainly complaints of higher costs (at least anecdotally).. If that's the case, watch the healthcare industry get behind it with massive political dollars making it even harder to change.

We had it between ages 62 and age 65. Check it out, Tam, et al. It may work for you?
