Previously, many people rushed to convict him before all the facts were know.
Given all of the false information in the press, maybe they are now trying to give him benefit of doubt.

If this one sticks Mr. Zimmerman may very well be disarmed by the State for his remaining days on this planet...

From what I've read and heard, I believe he was justified in the Trayvon Martin case.

That said, I also think his life is a train wreck (for whatever reason) and he's headed nowhere good if he doesn't turn it around. From reading articles posted and others linked from those, he's been with this girl since August... when his wife kicked him out in August and filed for divorce in September. This girl is allegedly pregnant with his baby. And they're living together after only 3-4 months of dating or whatever you call it. Call me paranoid, but even ignoring any issues of morality, I can't imagine letting someone live with me after only a few months of being "together." Especially not someone with a history. Especially not someone who started seeing me before his wife had even filed for divorce. Especially not with a report that he nailed a target full of bullet holes to his then-wife's parents' house. And there's no way in heck I'm letting that someone bring four firearms into my house. He's a mess, and for his sake I sure hope he can get it together before something else happens.

The girlfriend claimed on 911 phone call she is pregnant and Police said she is not. From the start, her credibility is at stake. GZ has to go on long vacation somewhere in Canada.

I heard they've diagnosed Zimmerman with PTSD: "Put that shotgun down!"

Unfortunately, MomaBear, not everyone exercises good judgement in determining who to let into their lives. There are some who are attracted to the 'bad boy' out there or those who've lived in such dysfunctional families that they don't know better.

The antics of Zimmerman would not make the local "Police Blotter" if not for the Trayvon Martin incident. Sooner or later he will either go to jail, quit doing the stupid things he's been doing, or . . .

If you read the articles, it's all he said she said. At this point we don't know enough to know what happened, so I will reserve judgment on the case. On George, I would highly recommend he get some counseling and spend some time living alone or with his family. He doesn't need entangling relationships right now, that's obvious. His life has been turned upside down, and he needs to hit pause.

A bad guy is a bad guy everyone isn't lying on him and all things are revealed in time. He's just showing the gen pop who he's always been, a lunatic that doesn't need access to any sort of weapon(objects with sharp edges included). Keep this guy free and eventually he'll end up dead or in jail, I've seen this story many times and can tell you how it ends with my eyes closed.

I agree. He has an extensive history of incidents. If they obtain a simple misdemeanor DV (domestic violence) conviction he looses his right to own a gun.

With his history, I am not surprised when anyone who rages at him tries to capitalize on his past. What better way to get even than to get him tossed in the slammer? If he can't get his head pullers adjusted properly, he will soon be looking through prison bars. One would think a person would fly under the radar after being so close to spending their life in prison.
