In regards to my earlier post, my usual carry along are geared towards myself, what I drive, where I go, and what I do. I live is dry and dusty western Texas near the NM border. I usually drive a Jeep Wrangler, if I'm not in it then I'm in a lifted 4x4 Suburban. It's not uncommon for me to go hunting, offroading, target shooting, ect. If you live in East Texas you might find you need a different supplies and equipment than someone who lives on the coast, or someone who lives in El Paso.

That's an interesting way to multi-purpose. Never thought to wonder if Neosporin burns, but with a
a relatively low molecular weight patented base of cocoa butter, cottonseed oil, sodium pyruvate, tocopheryl acetate, and petroleum jelly I should not be surprised.

Remember to rotate the perishables. When you need batteries in the house, use the ones from your kit and replace them with fresh ones. Rotate the food and water regularly.

And remember the millions of dollars the automakers spent to reduce the weight of your car by ounces here and there to increase MPG ....
