shield 9mm failure to eject

I received my shield 9mm a week before I was to take a tactical training course. I cleaned and lubed it and put about 100 rounds of WWB through it before the course. I had one failure in the 1st 50 rounds. During the 2 day course I put 400 more WWB 9mm without a failure. Since that time I have used various brands (what I could find) including some 124 gr and 147 gr stuff with no problems. It now has 1200 to 1400 rounds through it and it is my primary carry pistol.
