If you spend that much on a T.V. it ought to get channels from Alpha Centauri and Rigil.

In the reviews a guy posted from the future (2015) that the TV had dropped to only $699.
He came back from 2018 and said he found it in Goodwill for $29.95...

I put in a vote for review was helpful. What I cannot believe is that there are people so full of themselves they voted the review not helpful or even took it to heart and got their panties in a bunch and posted a negative comment directed at the reviewer.

Yep and the HDMI cables are not included. I was just getting ready to click the buy button when I realized this. It is a no go unless they throw in the cable free.

Nope, if I am home alone, the TV usually is not on. The 40 incher we have is hers. i watch a few programs, thinking of "On Demanding" Duck Dynasty, which I have never watched but am now a fan of, but mostly I record the shows I like and watch them at leisure, and even that is not many.

ETA: My first (late) wife and I lost the remote for our tv during a move in 1985, we didn't bother to get a new remote until 1987.

Everyone has different priorities. I don't understand people who pay more than twice that for a car.

If you make 10 millions per yr, the cost of any car is inconsequential, it is how big is your garage.

In that situation so is the cost of health insurance in the age of Obamacare. Must be nice.

You bet, I did not win $120,000,000 cash in overnight gambling nor I was born the son of King whose oil is buried under the sand. I am son of humble hard working soldier (sub-officer) who spent his life protecting Lebanon and the world from the drug smugglers. I am very proud of my Dad:
