glock has made a .380 for years, just not legale to import. I was wondering how they got past the regs.
I just dont see the point.

Like others I was hoping it would be a single stack 9mm, some of the comments on the linked site say that the Glock 41 will be a single stack 9mm, hopefully that is the case and it comes out soon as well.

They are years late getting in on the 380 game with a 380 that can be bought by the general public.

They are late, I agree. They were unable to import their .380's, which is why they must have started manufacturing these in the US.

Not really getting adding another .380 to the US market when 9mm seem's to be taking over the small compact area with smaller single stack 9s

Glock has started making pistols in Georgia. Those say made in the USA and the serial numbers start with AA. A couple started coming out during one of the last panics. The US made ones are starting to become more common.

I think I'll buy one of these as soon as it hits the shelves to use while my XDs is at Springfield for its "upgrade".

I don't think I am going to be buying into this one. I am not that impressed with the ballistics and there are 9mm guns on the market that are smaller and easier to carry. About the only reason I bought my Kahr P380 was to have a small pocket pistol. It sits in my safe most of the time.

A .380 Glock? Not for me. Perhaps something that holds 11 of these...

I like Glock but it's too little, and too late to the party when the CW9 destroys it from every talking point.

Glock 42, 6+1 .380 ACP, pocket gun, MSRP $475
Thoughts?
GT's has them for $329 as of 01/20 or $399 for people not eligible for the glock special pricing... come tax time I'll be picking one up

That thing looks a bit bulky. This thing looks like it can hold more than 6 rounds. I'm a bit disappointed.
I just wanna play w one now. Dang you CHL forums..
Took a better look at the photos. It's very compact. Still disappointed it doesn't hold more :/

Your post caused me to look at a comparison next to the PM9. It is about the same width, which can mean as much as anything for concealed carry. It is about a half inch longer and a quarter inch taller than the PM9. I get the same amount of rounds but get a round with better ballistic performance in the PM9. It is quiet a bit larger than the other .380's made for concealed/pocket carry.

If Glock ever comes out with this same gun in a 9mm I will have one.
