Things are not so different than back in the 1930s. Dozens of lefty thinking libs like George Bernard Shaw and others returned from visits to Stalin's Russia saying how Uncle Joe had created a workers paradise that what so much better than depression riddled USA or Europe. What always puzzles me is how many "educated" people lack critical reasoning. It just shows that if you want to believe something to be true then evidence to the contrary must just be propaganda and should be ignored.

His death just might get interesting. One has to wonder who would take his place and if they would be more moderate or would they be worse.

Did some google fu. It looks like he has three kids. Two girls and a 10 year old son. Others in his government will likely make them all disappear.
