The entire idea seems to be about as stupid as the women who would actually think it will result in an attacker saying; "...Well, darn! I give up." .. and leave peacefully.
Exactly what I was thinking, they have made some pretty strong statements.Topbuilder wrote:Can anyone see a law suit if the product fails to work?

I think that this trend started a long time ago. It is just being continued and propagated to the newer generations.karder wrote:There is a strong sentiment in the young liberal-progressive movement that any kind of self-defense is worse than the crime itself. If I were that girl, my greatest fear would be being stupid enough to date a drunk. I am by no means a "blame the victim" kind of guy; I worked far too long in a large ER, seeing too many women victimized by rapists to be in anyway a blame the victim kind of guy. But if I were dating someone who turned out to be a drunk, getting out of that relationship ASAP would be my highest priority, BEFORE something like that could happen.Tic Tac wrote:It might be useful if your worst fear is a drunk boyfriend.
If you were that girl, you would probably get as drunk as him.The Annoyed Man wrote:If I were that girl, my greatest fear would be being stupid enough to date a drunk.Tic Tac wrote:It might be useful if your worst fear is a drunk boyfriend.

Also, the comment about resisting a rapist doesn't increase the chances being injured or killed in the assault is wrong.
This product is a sham and unfortunately some women are going to fall for it. What does the manufacturer expect a woman to do when the rapists holds a knife to her throat or a gun to her head and says "take them off?"
Ladies, buy the underwear you like, then carry a gun to make sure they come off only when you want them to.
