He has a highly inflated opinion on how much power he has doesn't he? I believe Meryl Streep's career has "jumped the shark". Soon she will take any work she can get. It wouldn't surprise me to see her doing commercials soon.

Harvey Weinstein is a hard-leftist. He either believes, or pretends to believe, the leftist propaganda that "conservatives are Nazis" who all hate Jewish people, or some variation thereof. So, he wants the conservatives to be disarmed. This is the sort of tripe that the left puts out to both scaremonger with, and to create a "moral high-ground" for THEM to have firearms, but not for the average American citizen. So, he either knows he's full of hot air on this and just parroting the party line, or he's ignorant to the point of being dangerous about it. Either way, I have zero desire to see his movies.

I say let them make their movie. It will have minimal impact for them and may galvanize supporters of our cause to be more vocal.

I think he should make the movie and pay a lot of stars big bucks to be in it. I know I won't go see it and maybe it will be a bik bust with him loosing millions.

He's making a drama. I could see more harm done if it were a documentary but what kind of drama could you make about the NRA that will make them look as bad as he says?

Streep's career was actually a source of jokes during one of the award shows this week....something along the lines of parts available for someone of her age?
