He has a highly inflated opinion on how much power he has doesn't he? I believe Meryl Streep's career has "jumped the shark". Soon she will take any work she can get. This has been my exact experience, but from the opposite perspective growing up. And, yes, as a kid I was one of those reformed "stark raving libs." I say let them make their movie. It will have minimal impact for them and may galvanize supporters of our cause to be more vocal.
