I almost put that in my OP as my plan... decided not to because it's a good holster, and the real issue was on me for not tightening its retention enough.

To set the retention of your holster, put your gun (empty chamber) with a loaded magazine, turn the screws tight as you can with a small screwdriver. Hold the holster upside down over a bed or something else that's padded. Shake the holster if the gun stays, loosen the screws a half turn and test again. Once you get to the point the gun falls out tighten the screws one full turn and test. If the gun stays in this is your loosest setting you should use. :tiphat:

Or, you can do what I do crank it down and go with it! "rlol" :thumbs2:

Three or four 3-letter words too. :smilelol5:

Seriously. I wouldn't have an issue pulling one out of there either, but I've been through some nasty stuff :???:
I'm a bit of a germaphobe... how deep are those things?
Not very. Usually well under 2' (19 inches is close to standard I believe).

I heard of shooting the breeze but that would bring it to new levels. Or depths.

In most of those that I have been in, it probably would have been sitting on top :biggrinjester:

That would have made it easier to "fish it out".

My rental car keys fell in one once. They landed on a small island of paper that was floating in the blue honey. I contemplated leaving them but I was the only one on the construction site at the time, it was inside a refinery, and there was no telling how long it would take Avis to bring me a spare set.

I reached down and snagged them. I washed those keys probably 30 times and took 20 showers.

This is why women can change diapers while eating a peanut butter sandwich and men can't. They don't have the stomach for it. Hate to break it to you guys, but the average seldom-cleaned shower stall has all the same bacteria. Just in less plentiful supply. Turning on that shower head to full force creates aerosols that are not exactly pristine. That was the rather eye opening discovery from a microbiology experiment in college. If my gun was in the unhappy spot described in the OP, I wouldn't be any happier than anyone else but there would be nothing to do but snag it out and clean it up. My brother is a plumber and I can imagine he would have a really hard time keeping his composure if he got this call. :biggrinjester:

Hahahahaha similar situation...

Was at work and went to the bathroom. Flushed and stood up while pulling my pants up at the same time. Little did I know that the top of my pants had folded over. So when I pulled up my pockets flipped vertical with some force. Out pops my work flash drive hits the stall wall, the ricochets off the back wall right into to toilet bowl. And whooooosh it was gone! :banghead:

Thankfully it was an iron key so everything was encrypted but I still had to report it to the office :smilelol5:
