I have a new LC9S as well and have not had any issues with it...other than having to get used that awesome trigger.

With my previous LC9, I had the striker issue where brass shavings were clogging up the works (common on initial new LC9) Called Ruger, they emailed me a shipping label while I was on the phone and I sent it out that day. That was a Tuesday...I had it back in my hands on Friday. Their customer service is top notch.

I wish you luck with yours and I hope it doesn't change how you feel about the pistol.

Oh, heavens no, I have two Ruger rifles and an SR40 and they are good products. I had to send our then new Sig P238 in for throwing casings in our face so it's not a big deal. (Hopefully Ruger won't send our repaired gun to an Alaska gun shop like Sig did  .)

Hooray, the nice FedEx man delivered my LC9s about an hour ago :cheers2: :thumbs2: . They replaced the grip frame assembly and slide stop spring. I could immediately tell the mag release felt different - it is now more proud of the grip (sticks out more) than original and ironically it is now easier to release the magazine than before. I think I now have a EDC that I can trust (gosh, I missed my little buddy.)

What was the turn around time for your LC9? I have always heard Ruger has good customer service but so far I have never had any issues with my Rugers

Turn around time was about a week door-to-door - very satisfactory to me and Ruger threw in a free cleaning cloth for my trouble.

One last followup - been carrying the Ruger for six days with zero malfunctions - going to call it fixed and ready for service. :cheers2:
