Nope. I took all at the author's twitter feed... She's proud of it and calling to share if it they're not a "coward"...

My guess is that it's provider her with some buzz (personally) and gets her some personal attention.

She will be singing a different tune when she is sued when some student actually does this and references her video.

That's what I thought too, but likely she has very little real liability by making a bad-idea video. Based on her work history, she's likely "judgement proof" anyway.

I know most people wouldn't consider your kid taking your gun stealing but I might.

Good rebuttal. Those people that live violence free in Utopia sure are lucky. For now.
I wonder what's going to be coursing through their "collective all-knowing minds" when the lights go out.

I would hope that any kid that shared my DNA wouldn't be so stupid. If that was my kid, after he got bailed out of jail by someone else (because I darn well wouldn't have), he'd find all of his possessions out on the front yard.

The problem with the type of people that make these kinds of things is that they can't be reasoned with. You will never be able to sit down and have a rational discussion. They're right, you're wrong. They know better than you. They aren't interested in facts or reality. After all, it's for the children.

A couple of observations:

First of all, I think it is an airgun...look at the bore.

Second of all, at least the kid used good finger vs. trigger positioning.

Otherwise, the criticism is spot on.
