I will be there and there were several others saying they would a few days ago. I'll be wearing an orange Texas Dad cap and a Columbia jacket with some gray and red on it I think.

When I helped organize meetups for another group, we had much higher attendance when our schedule didn't conflict with typical working hours. Our original core group was graduate students so it wasn't a problem when we started but eventually we had to adjust the time to stay viable. Good luck!
:iagree: It's now the morning of 6 March, and I'm still in Nigeria (third and final day!!). By the morning of 7 March (time zone shifts help out here), I'll be back in Houston, and could have attended.

There were 5 of us this morning. Not a bad way to ease into the day. Thanks to LDB415 for setting it up. Hope this is something that can keep going.

:iagree: I had a good time meeting you all. Hot coffee, good food and good conversation. The perfect way to start the day.

Yes, it was a good breakfast and a better visit. Folks in the other areas of town are missing out not organizing their own. I hope it can continue also.

I'm glad I could make this one. I've put the first Friday each month on my calendar and I'll try to keep those dates clear.

Chas.

Wish I could have made it. I've been out of town on both occasions tending to the grand kid flock. Hope to make the next one.

I know it's 2 weeks out. If anyone wants to suggest somewhere other than IHOP I'm sure we could entertain it. IHOP is good too though. Hopefully we'll have another good turnout. Maybe enough to interest folks in other areas to start their own group breakfasts.

As things currently stand right now, I'll probably be able to make it. IHOP is good with me, but I'll go with whatever is decided.

Yes, 4/3 is the next one. Kelley's does also have good breakfasts, any meal really. Which location were you thinking? I'm ok with either K or IHOP, or anywhere else that has similarly good breakfast for that matter.

Wild Bill ask about the Kelley's in League City and the one in Pearland. League City is closer to I-45. I am OK with any place in the general vicinity of any of those, including the IHOP.

I am open to either the League City Kelley's or the IHOP at Fuqua @I45.
