It's a good thing Penn only has to recite lines the writers put down for him in his movies. He can't construct a cohesive sentence in conversation on his own evidenced by the quote above which is gibberish. Like Liam Neeson he should stick to his movie lines because on their own they expose their ignorance and intelligence or lack thereof.A-R wrote:http://www.msn.com/en-us/movies/celebri ... sEonline11
"I think guns are not something to be missed," he said. "Especially, on a serious note, when we talk about it this week [and] this tragic thing that happened in Paris. I'd like to see more guns go to sculpture."
He added, "I'd like to see it happen. I don't know that we've come to a time where we can be a gun-less society, but we're certainly not working the way we're flying with them."
"Being provoked by this aforementioned strong woman and considering how liberating of bull and ugliness it would be not only get rid of the guns I have in the continental United States but also to destroy them, Jeff Koons and I had a chat the other day," Penn said.
He said, "The highest bidder gets every single one of my guns put in the hands of this iconic artist and sculptor…Koons will decommission [and] render inactive all of my cowardly killing machines."

I like that idea. Destroy just a little at a time by burning small amounts of smokeless power inside the barrel and chamber. It might a take a while, but through dedication and perseverence, we will eventually destroy them.AlaskanInTexas wrote:I am going to start a free service collecting and destroying guns...
I keep thinking of Bill Murray in "Zombieland". I nearly died laughing when it turned out he was "acting" like a zombie so they'd leave him alone. And then I nearly died of irony when he gets it in the end.puma guy wrote:One thing's for sure; when the zombie apocalypse comes no one in Hollywood will need a gun for defense. Does this mean he's keeping his guns in Haiti, France, and Hawaii?A-R wrote: not only get rid of the guns I have in the continental United States
Exactly. It's all theater, for an American audience. He doesn't need to convince europeans, as they've already capitulated.Dadtodabone wrote:Does this mean he's keeping his guns in Haiti, France, and Hawaii?A-R wrote: not only get rid of the guns I have in the continental United States
