Precision Bullet Group Order
Moderators: carlson1, Charles L. Cotton
Shot some .45 ACP 200 grain semi-wadcutters yesterday. Much less smoke than lubed lead bullets, no problems of any kind, fingers stay clearer when loading. I'm very pleased with these bullets.
If anyone has shot these in 9mm, please post your impressions. Tempted to get some little 9s next group order.
Regards,
Andrew

SRVA,
Thanks!
In that case, next group order I will be in for a bunch of 9mm. I had about 4,000 generic copper-jacketed 115 g that were about 3¢ each when I bought them (long ago) but they are almost gone. Metals prices being what they are, no more jacketed bullets for me.
Regards,
Andrew

reloading
I've got the Dillon 550B. As far as I'm concerned this is the best reloader on the market(I'm thinking about getting into the reloading market) and I've looked at just about every thing on the internet.
I've been using the 550B for a couple of years now and for me, it's the best, most versatle machine out there.
I'm loading most pistol cal. (you know,7.62X25, 380,9x18, 9mm, 40cal. .45 auto, 38spl. 357mag. 41mag. .44spl. .45long colt.)
And rifle in .308, 30-06, 6.5x55, 7.5x55, 7.62x39, 7.62x54R, 8mm mauser,8x56R and .223.
My 550b does them all. (yea, I've got a bunch of "tool heads" for it. one for each cal.
Yes, the 650 is for high production (ok, so it the 1050) but for all around changeable. I think the 550 is the best for the home loader, I do and I am.
and Hey, charles, I would love to get into one of ya'll bullets buys.
let me know

bullets
Are we talking pistol bullets, or any rifle bullets included? I could use some lead rifle bullets also. If I could find someone to pour them.
But I shoot a lot of .40, 41mag. 9mm .38 and .45 auto and LC.

Haven't come close to running out of the .45s from the last order, but would like to get some 9 mm in the next order.
I'm quite happy with the .45s - they are cleaner to load, not smokey, and function fine. If you have not used these coated bullets before, you will probably be favorably impressed when you get them / load them / shoot them.
