Thread title is misleading. According to the article I read, the man was questioned and released and left in his own vehicle. Probably an experience some of us will have after OC starts. Hysterical MWAG calls.

I agree that a 90 minute detention because you're wearing camo is a bit excessive. I do wonder what they spent the remaining 89 minutes doing after they realized he was carrying camera equipment.

I want to clarify. I am not advocating a “demonstration” or anything like “OCT”. All I am saying is those that have a license in or near a community that takes that attitude open carry for a week or two. I think the 90 minute detentions will quickly drop to 15 seconds or less.

About the second time the same officer handled a call on me, I would offer to buy a cup of coffee and pie. Might end up with a good friend in law enforcement.

LOL...that could become our thing. Anyone from TexasCHLforum who gets stopped offers to buy the officer a cup of coffee and a slice of pie. OTH....that could possibly increase the stops (based on the high desirability of pie!
